Our semi-intensive program was designed for tourists or residents and offers integrated skills with a focus on communicative English including an emphasis on vocabulary and pronunciation. It offers 7 levels of English learning. Each level takes 16 weeks. Each term has 4 evaluation tests. Our complete Intensive Program has a total of 112 weeks.

Schedule

Monday to Thursday – 12 hours /week

Morning: 9am – 12pm

Evening: 7:30pm -10h30pm 

Fridays and Saturdays: 10am to 1pm / 2pm to 5pm

In this level, the student can ask and answer simple questions about themselves, where they live, people they know, and things they have. Students will be able to initiate and respond to simple statements in areas of immediate need or on very familiar topics.

Achievement

Beginner students are able to understand and respond appropriately to simple spoken English structures and to produce basic spoken English on familiar topics. They can understand and analyse simple texts in English, recognize word order and simple sentence structures.

In this level, students are able to use simple everyday polite forms of greeting people, ask how they are and react to news. They will be able to ask and answer questions about what they do at work and about their daily routine. They can make simple transactions in shops, restaurants or banks.

Achievement

Elementary students are able to read, listen to and answer basic English and use spoken English in real world situation; express using grammatical structures to express in the present, the future and the past time; comprehend and analyse basic texts.

In this level, students will be able to interact and express themselves in many contexts and follow the main points of an extensive discussion around them. They can express the main idea of the subject clearly, even if they need to pause for a grammar repair or a subtle pronunciation mistake. They will be able to deal with routine problems of everyday life and also make travel plans.

Achievement

Pre-Intermediate students will be able to read, listen to and answer appropriately to natural spoken English; use spoken English in a variety of social, academic and professional settings; use grammatical structures in both written and spoken English in different contexts;comprehend and analyze authentic texts.

In this level, students are working their way toward more natural fluency, no longer needing to depend oftopics that are familiar to them. They are able to maintain more extended interaction and communicate what they want to express in a wider range of contexts. Students can communicate in a more natural way in different situations, including formal and informal language.

Achievement

Intermediate students will be able to understand the main points, as well as some details of clear input on familiar matters regularly encoutered as well as topics that are new to them; effectively deal with situations lifely to arise during their daily activities and produce more connected text on topics which are less familiar to them; describe opinions, obligations, and experiences, and events; give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.

In this level, students are able to account for and sustain their opinions in discussion by providing relevant explanations, arguments and comments. They can explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options and can develop an argument giving reasons in support of or against a particular point of view. They can take an active part in informal discussion in familiar contexts, commenting, sharing their point of view clearly, evaluating alternative proposals and making and responding to hypotheses.

High Intermediate students will be able to read, listen to and answer appropriately to natural spoken English; use spoken English in a variety o of social, academic and professional settings; use grammatical structures in both written and spoken English in different contexts; comprehend and analyse authentica texts.

In this level, students will have wide access to the varieties of language allowing fluency, spontaneous and effortless communication. They have a good lexical domain. They are able to select a phrase in context to gain time while thinking. They can produce clear and well-structured speech.

Achievement

Advanced students will be able to listen, speak, read and write using longer and complex sentences and more extensive vocabulary. Students are able to use language skills at a higher level of critical thinking to make predictions, summarise information, and express and defend opinions.

In this level, students will e able to discuss about business ideas and how to apply them to their professional life. It offers, for language students and professionals, more communication and language practice than ever before, helping students develop relevant business English they can use immediately in the workplace.

Achievement

C2 students are able to to talk about cultural differences, express themselves spontaneously, very fluently and precisely. Share their ideas about organizational chart, company risks, avoid conflicts and discuss personalities. They will be able to communicate effectively on the phone and talk about the future from a past perspective discussing persuasion and different types of leaderships.

Placement Test


Upon arrival, students will take a Placement Test (written and oral) to assess their knowledge of the English language. Students will be placed into the class level based on the results of their placement test.

Orientation Session


Before starting the classes, students participate in an Orientation Session, in which they are given all student-related materials, including their course schedule and school’s policies.
